Counselor Requirements & Info (read carefully)

*Please note from our home page that we are only operational for 6 weeks from June 12 - July 28. No Camp July 3 - 7.

• Counselors must be age 18+, have a High School Diploma/GED, and a valid Driver License.

• All Counselors are hired as contract workers working four (4) 10-hour weekday shifts per week starting at $22/hr.

• You may be asked to work all 5 days if/when needed.

• Raises and Bonuses are available based on attendance and performance (applied at the discretion of the owner/director).

• This is an active camp where we walk A LOT. Counselors must be in decent physical shape.

• Counselors Must be CPR/First Aid Certified.

• Experience working with children ages 8-15 years is strongly preferred.

• Priority will be given to applicants that can work all weeks camp is in session.

• College students seeking a career in education and teachers looking for a few extra $ on summer break highly encouraged to apply.

• Must be comfortable driving a 15 passenger van when needed.

• Upon being hired, all counselors must agree to attend a mandatory 8-hour orientation the Friday or Saturday before camp begins.
